Dietmar Eberle

Born in 1952 in Hittisau, Vorarlberg. Studied architecture at the University of Technology Vienna; in 1979, he helped initiate the new living and building culture movement in Vorarlberg. He was in partnership with Carlo Baumschlager from 1985 to 2010 and lectured at the universities in Hanover, Vienna, Linz, Zurich, New York, and Darmstadt. Since 1999, he has been professor of architecture and design at the ETH Zurich and head of the ETH Wohnforum. He was dean of the Department of Architecture at the ETH Zurich from 2003 to 2005.
