Robert Fabach

Born in 1964 in Styria. Works as an architect and architectural critic. An interest in art history led him to do field research in the Middle East and on the west coast of America. He completed his architectural studies at the University of Applied Arts Vienna, and, in 1988, he shifted the focus of his work to Vorarlberg. From 2001 to 2012, he was involved in a number of projects, both large and small, working together with Heike Schlauch under the aegis of their firm raumhochrosen and undertook various consultancy and communications projects on architecture. In tandem with his architectural practice, he has also been regularly involved in research activities and publications on building culture in the Vorarlberg region. Today, alongside his work with project development and spatial planning, he is also helping to establish the aav (Architecture Archive Vorarlberg) at the Vorarlberg Museum in Bregenz.
