Margherita Spiluttini

Born in 1947 in Schwarzach, Salzburg. Lives in Vienna and has been a freelance photographer since 1981. Her work focuses on the perception of architecture and space as a broad concept. Over the course of time, this has then given rise to a comprehensive body of work that documents and interprets the architecture not only of significant contemporary architects but also of anonymous artificers – covering both interventions in the landscape and urban networks. Her numerous exhibitions include shows at Galerie Christine König, Vienna, 2014; Camera Austria, Graz, 2012; Museum der Moderne: Rupertinum, Salzburg, 2009; Architekturzentrum Wien, 2007; ARCO, Madrid, 2006; Technisches Museum Wien, 2002; Architectural Association, London, 2004. She took part in the Architecture Biennale in Venice in 1991, 1996, and 2004.
